Aside from photographing your pets, I LOVE to travel. This year, I had the opportunity to photograph guided trips in Banff, Canada, TWICE! And while we didn't see a ton of wildlife on the winter trip, when we finally did, it was during near whiteout conditions, adding a little sprinkle of magic to the scene.
Side story: on the Summer trip, we saw THE BOSS, the famously massive and resilient grizzly of Banff whose genetics run through much of the park’s bear population. He was just off the side of the road with a ranger tailing him in his vehicle. The rangers job is to make sure people don't pull over, approach or cause a traffic jam. So I photographed him with my eyeballs.
I am guiding my own trips this year (for pet photographers and non-photographers), so if you're interested in joining, check out where we're going in 2026 on my workshops and trips page!
Highly recommend Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. It was a once in a lifetime EPIC adventure!
*Dogs from tour did have on harnesses, I edited them out in a couple of photos.
